Partner with the Career Center
Faculty and staff are important partners in helping students connect their academic experience to career goals. The Career Center offers presentations, recruiting tools, employer referral guidance and programs to support students as they prepare for internships, jobs and life after graduation.
When our students visit companies and agencies, they see professionals in action and hear about their work in a setting that they have never experienced. It’s invaluable for students to see these professional contexts and sites, to help them make the leap toward their future career.

The Career Center is a wonderful partner when it comes to readying students for employment and the “real world.” I partner with them every fall to bring media professionals from across D/FW to the student newsroom to network with students. At every event, students make crucial contacts and land internships.
